Mark initiates design work by ear - listening to clients to understand their needs and asking questions to clarify their vision. Then his design focus is by eye - carefully assessing the site to see how the parameters of the location can mesh with the client's requirements. A design is then developed that provides a balance between client’s needs, the parameters of the site, and of course the budget.
 
Communication between designer, contractor and client is essential to a successful project. Mark takes the time necessary to develop his clients' thoughts and ideas, before translating them into drawings: the language of construction. His extensive understanding of construction, as well as his long-standing relationship with contractors, consultants and sub-trades, are keys to seeing a project through to completion.
 
Mark's services vary in scope from a simple design for a small addition or renovation, to extensive ground-up new home projects involving site development, services and outbuildings.

An initial consultation is provided without charge. This provides an opportunity for clients to meet Mark, share thoughts and ideas, and further understand the process involved in seeing their project through to completion.
